Shrimp Tacos with Spicy Pear-Avocado Chutney
My husband and I look forward to taco Tuesdays. Today, I decided to flare up our shrimp tacos with some avocado and pear chutney. Here's the recipe:
- 1 avocado
- 1 pear
- 4-5 green chili peppers (other substitutes: jalapeno, habanero)
- Cilantro leaves
- Black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Mexican blend cheese
- ½ lime
1. In a small food processor, add diced avocado, pear, green chili, salt, olive oil, cilantro, and paprika. Blend & set aside.
2. In a bowl, marinate the shrimp with salt, black pepper, and freshly cooked lime juice.
3. Grill the shrimp.
4. Add some chutney and cheese to spice up the shrimp tacos! I added some extra lime to mine.
